Le groupe suédois Carptree est constitué de Niclas Flinck au chant et de Carl Westholm aux claviers, aux arrangements, et à la production, différents invités se chargeant des autres instruments. Après un
premier album prometteur en 2001, ils nous livreront leur chef d'oeuvre "Superhero" deux années plus tard.
Leurs influences sont Peter Gabriel, Marillion période Fish. Carptree pourrait être étiqueté "Pop Rock Progressif", mais le groupe posséde suffisamment de personnalité pour être indéfinissable et inclassable.
